Potato Chips and Granola Bars at 3am

It is 3 o'clock in the morning and the princess is sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor eating potato chips and a granola bar!! If I could just find my camera in this disaster of a house. She obviously thinks it is China time. And she won't even share her potato chip!!!! She is just like a newborn with her days and nights mixed up. It is so hard to keep her awake during the day. She is like a little frog and curls up on the floor and goes to sleep when ever she feels like it and wherever in the house it doesn't matter to her. Not sure exactly how I am going to change this behavior but I have to figure something out soon!!! I am too old to be staying up in the middle of the night!!! Good thing that she is really adorable eating potato chips!!! Hope all of you are sleeping well and just remember if you try to call and I don't answer, you will know why!!!!

Sherrie, I am so glad you are doing this blog. One day Sweet Sophie will be able to look at it and see all the changes she went through...and he Mom, too. I t will be invaluable to her!

How's Josh doing? Is there any progress on that front?

What seems to be Sophies favorite snack? Can yu tell yet? Does she like candy or just more substantial food...like potatoe chip? :)

Yummy! Chips and granola bars! That's my kind of girl! Hang in there with the sleep issues. I know it can take its toll.

hi I wanted to tell you one big thing that can help fix their internal clock is sunshine.. As much as you can get her in it during the day. It seems simple I know but it realy does help.
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. :)

Sweet Sherrie, Yes, a newborn. Everything will Be HUGE. I think you're on to something with sending Justin to hang at a friend's house for a couple of days. Maybe Friday night he could exit stage left. I am no expert, but it might help to force her to depend more on you as she sees you in that role. You are amazing and the perfect mama for Princess. Princess has made such progress. I have a great book that might help with sleep habits as it addresses toddlers. Called: Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Babies. Keep on trucking....If you hit a point of exhaustion, feel free to call me. I would be glad to come "sit" with her to allow you a snooze. Mom would be glad to help me with my boys, so I could help you. Princess might not like Fairy Andi, but we would manage. Call me if you need to!

So cute! Princess Sophie's little body will eventually adjust! We were crazy sleep deprived when we got home and then for quite a few weeks after. People would say, "you look tired" and I would say "for heavens sake, I am tired!" These days will pass......in a blur at that! The fresh air of Autumn is right around the corner and that should make everyone feel better! Still praying for each of you!

HEY SHERRIE,

I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR JOURNEY TO LITTLE SOPHIE. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I'M TOUCHED BY YOUR COMPASSION AND GENEROSITY AND KNOW THINGS WILL IMPROVE AS SOPHIE GETS MORE COMFORTABLE IN HER NEW HOME. I SHOWED HER PICTURE TO MY FAMILY AND JORDAN SAID ALL CHILDREN LOVE JUSTIN. THEY ENJOYED SHARING IN YOUR STORY. WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET SOPHIE.
GOD BLESS!
