Pray for Sophie

Please pray for Sophie. She has been admitted to Flowers hospital room 223. We had a bad night last night with what I assume to be bladder spasms. The medicine they gave me for that didn't seem to help her last night and then this morning she had blood in her urine. We spent the day at the ER and got into a room around 4:30pm. I am not sending out an email so I am hoping that everyone will get this post and pass the news along. Her whtle blood cells were elevated to 28000. They have done an abdominal xray, and bladder ultrasound.....more blood work and she is on IV antibiotics. She is so pitiful. We are so thankful that the Lord gave her to us at just the right time to get her the medical care that she needs but our hearts are heavy tonight as we see our little girl suffer the fear of strangers poking her and seeing her regress. She is allowing us to comfort her though. Thank you all for your love and concern for our little princess.

Sounds to me like you need more than just a few little prayers. If its ok I would like to send your blog and a prayer request to my ladies at Protestant Women of the Chapel on Ft. Rucker. Sounds like Sophie is going to be needing some playmates soon!! My little fella could use a new friend or 2.

Oh Sherrie, we will most definitely pray for Sophie and your family as this must be so difficult. We are sorry so much is going on for your precious princess and long for her to get relief and healing. Our prayers are for our loving Father and Great Physician to heal and comfort Sophie and to comfort her precious family too as you watch and wait. How thankful we are that she is getting the best love and care.
