I received this email today from the adoption agency stating the reason why our LOA has not arrived yet. The good news is that the problem is resolved...the not so good news is we still don't know when it will arrive....just soon!! This is such a relief. Not having any idea what is going on is the hardest part of the wait! Now we know to pray for the processing and mailing of our LOA to go smoothly.

I just received an email from our in-China contact was told the reason for the delay of your LOA's. Evidently, due to the Earthquake, the bank CCAA uses was unable to process the cashing of the check we sent with your dossiers. The check has been cashed and the problem resolved. They have reviewed your dossiers and moved them to the department for LOA's to be processed for you. They told our contact that you will receive LOA "soon".
I'm sorry, I know this isn't the news you wanted to hear as we all hoped to hear that they are in the mail. Unfortunately, they did not give an exact date but I hope that it helps to know what is happening and to know that they are in the final stage of the process that they will be coming soon.

Well, this is good! At least we know what is going on. Now, things will process quickly...and soon you will be on your way! I'm glad they were able to give you an explanation.

Finally, some news! It's still hard to wait, but at least we know that CCAA knows we exist! Maybe this week? We say that every week! Hee Hee! One of these days, it will come true!
